So is our very own , born and bred and you know , Js , they , you know , whether it's buying a cup of coffee or shopping for a new t when you shop at a black owned business , not just in August , but all year long that support can go a long way with the , let's get right to sharing the goods because we've got a special brick and mortar to start us off . The goal when I opened this store was to like , have a safe space for people to shop .
We were at a small store not very far from here , right where Nipsey hustle had his um little shop at and we eventually moved over here to La Mer Park because an opportunity arose to come over here to La Merc Park , which we felt was one of the centers for black businesses . And we always wanted to be around other black businesses . Why is it so important to have black representation in the book world ?
