This is a 15,000 square foot property that is the old recording studio . It's a restaurant , fine dining Italian and also a rooftop . It looks up at the Hollywood sign .
It's put together this idea and uh started with an old internet cafe . We brought in pieces from around the world to make our vision of a beautiful bar , something that compete with high elevated cocktails and amazing food . We're big fans of the movie Gangs in New York and the movie takes place in the 18 hundreds .
Uh That's where I like really got to build a passion and like really real respect for local ingredients sourced in the right way , handled the right way with like love . The menu is really inspired by classic Southern Italian plate ups where when you're traveling through Sicily or Positano or the Malfi or kind of these like Mediterranean Islands , even in Southern Spain , you get something that is pristine quality pulled out of the water by someone you know , sliced and topped with olive oil and that's about it . So we take that just a step further .

Leona is uh a Japanese fusion restaurant with a little bit of a touch of European and Peruvian flavors . I had an Italian restaurant called La Loggia for so many years . 30 we had a great run .
